　　Taking notes is a key part of learning. Fortunately, there are some skills that we can acquaint ourselves with. To be specific, hereafter I will share my personal experience with you in dictation when taking a listening test.

　　Generally speaking, there are three steps in the dictation:

　　Step One

　　Listen to the listening materials roughly and write down the key words and information. In this process, you should have a basic mastery of the contents to grasp the gist.

　　Step Two

　　In this stage , you ought to listen to the materials sentence by sentence instead of word by word. During this procedure, your main task is to check up the notes you have taken and make up for our deficiencies.

　　Step Three

　　Last but not least, if there is still something that you cannot understand or miss out, then skip it in order not to dampen your confidence. You have to make sure the contents you have written down are correct grammatically.
