　　本句的主干是This is...true...。where引导的非限制性定语从句where sustainable...perspectives修饰agriculture;该从句中，without引导的介词短语作状语。sustainable意为“可持续的，合理利用的”。如：

　　Without international cooperation,sustainable development will be impossible.

　　没有国际间的合作，可持续发展是不可能的。

　　sole意为“唯一的，单独的”。如：

　　There is a saying in China that practice is the sole criterion for testing truth.

　　我们中国有句话，叫做“实践是检验真理的唯一标准”。

　　perspective意为“观点，角度”，此外还可以表示“前途;远景”。如：

　　It is useful to look at the past to gain a perspective on the present.

　　回顾过去有助于展望未来。

　　六级考点归纳：

　　介词短语在句中的用法小结。

　　作表语。如：

　　The book you want is on the table.

　　你要的那本书在桌子上。

　　The matter is of great importance.

　　这件事至关重要。

　　作宾补。如：

　　I saw a pretty girl under the tree.

　　我看到树下有个漂亮的女孩。

　　I found the letter you were looking for in a drawer.

　　我在抽屉里发现了那封你一直在找的信。

　　作定语(后置定语)。如：

　　The man in black suit is my boyfriend.

　　那个穿黑西服的男人是我男朋友。

　　She is reading a book about how to make up.

　　她在看一本讲如何化妆的书。

　　作状语。如：

　　We live in Beijing.

　　我们住在北京。

　　We went to America by plane.

　　我们乘飞机去的美国。

　　The concert was postponed because ofthe storm.

　　因为暴风雨，音乐会被推迟了。

　　There will be no living things without water.

　　没有水就没有生物。

　　She went to the office in spite ofthe fever.

　　冬管发烧，但她还是去上班了。
